This is a late afternoon scene from Salinas with a view of the Carmel, CA mountains in the distance. The bold blocks of color create an abstract rendering and retains interest by way of colors and composition. Utility poles are masterfully used to give depth. The vehicles with head lights add life to the vibrant painting which would suit any room in the house or office. A great conversation piece in Fauve/Impressionist style.
